Is Ryanair Charity Calendar Sexist or Just Sexy? | The Daily Dust delivering the best bric a brac, daily news and events with a British flavour

Budget airline Ryanair?s charity calendar has been branded sexist by Institute for Women in Spain. In a statement, it said: ‘It is significant that only women are used, in a sector in which there is a considerable percentage of men.’

A spokesperson added, ?The company is attacking the dignity of women workers in general and especially of cabin crew members, by presenting stereotypical images of these professionals which they have spent years struggling against.?

The calendar has raised money for homeless charity Dublin Simon Community and features scantily clad cabin crew.

Do you think that the calendar is sexist or is helping to raise money for worthy cause? Leave your comments below.

  1. I have no objection to looking at beautiful females in whatever they choose to wear.
I certainly do not want to look at members of the Insitute for Women, I imagine they cannot compare to the picture in the Plane.
