Top Ten Pet Names For Lovers Revealed By A Jeweller | The Daily Dust delivering the best bric a brac, daily news and events with a British flavour

Sexy Pig and Poo Face are among the top 10 nicknames couples use according to High Street jeweller H Samuel.

The nicknames came to light when the jeweller reviewed their anonymous online gifting service ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Top 10 Nicknames For Your Lover…

Sexy Pig

This is just a weird one, because while it opens well, the ending is rubbish.

Poo Face

Almost the exact opposite here, with a horrible opening but a redemption at the end.

Sausage

Now why would someone call their partner sausage as a term of endearment? What could they refer to?

Chubby Cheeks

Whereas here it’s very very obvious.

Monkey Boy

…and I bet that hundred of you reading this just went “whhh, whhh, whhh” with your fingers at your lips just like the classic TV series.

Naughty Monster

Err… like Vincent Price?

Munchkin

I have a problem with this one – Munchkin is a kids name around The Daily Dust offices.

Nuzzle Buddy

Okay who even uses this in real life outside of Sloane Square?

Fatty Bum Bum

Ah, that explains it. half these names must be ‘reward’ medals for the cast and crew of a BBC Three Sitcom recording.

Lobster

All I can think of is the height of endearment that Lobster is, must be from the Friends episode where Ross and Rachel are proclaimed as each other’s Lobster by Phoebe.

I’m sure Dust readers can come up with some much more useful variants in the comments!
