Nigella: “My children won’t eat my food”
“Domestic Goddess” Nigella Lawson has admitted that her children prefer takeaways and ready meals rather than eat her own creations
She said in the Daily Telegraph: ‘My children won’t eat my food. If it is not plastic or out of a box, then they are not interested.’
The 49-year-old television chef, who is married to the art dealer Charles Saatchi, added: “I’m at the cooking and research stage for my next book at the moment.
“I had thought about doing a novel, but the cooking thing has rather taken over. All my books are horribly overwritten anyway and get cut to ribbons by my editor.”
Miss Lawson’s admission about her children’s dislike of her cooking comes after she recently claimed she would settle for fish and chips over Christmas.
