Couple Will Kiss at Every Pier in UK
Engaged couple, Hazel Costin and Jay Preller plan to kiss at every pier in the UK before taking their vows and getting married.
The couple will make the romantic journey around the country before getting married. They are hoping that the place where they had their first kiss will be reopen in time to host their wedding. Weston’s Grand Pier was destroyed by fire last year and the couple hope by the time they have completed their journey the pier will be open again to host their wedding.
“We had our first kiss on the end of the pier so it just seem right to get married there – and it wasn’t long before we came up with the plan to visit them all. It’s so exciting,” said Miss Costin, 39, a teacher.
“The book is just a bit of fun but people seem interested. It’s fun to write it up as we are going along and it will be a constant reminder of our wonderful journey together.”
The couple are also writing a book about their journey entitled ‘From Piers to Eternity’.
