Undertaker Deadly Serious About Fun

June 18, 2009 by Mark Glenning

Britain’s youngest funeral director doesn’t want to make funerals such a deadpan affair.

Edward Cutler, 19, opened his first premises in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, last week.

Following the current trend for light hearted funerals, he offers any type of ceremony – from a cortege of pink limousines to scattering ashes in space.

Mr Cutler, who has been in the trade for three years, said: ‘I want to try and make these things possible for people and make it easier for people to be able to have the funeral they really want.’
