It sounds like a plot line out of Jonathan Creek but Illusionist Derren Brown has said he will successfully predict all six National Lottery numbers live on TV.
The TV Magician will attempt the feat Live on Channel 4, minutes prior to this Wednesday evening’s £2.4M National Lottery Draw on the BBC.
Brown has been banned by Channel 4 bosses from buying a lottery ticket this week, although lottery organiser Camelot said it is impossible to affect the results of the draw.
Brown has also admitted that his career could be over if he fails to get the numbers right.
A follow up show is being planned for Friday, where Brown will reveal exactly how he predicted the numbers (If he is successful of course).
Speaking to the Mirror, Brown said: “I realise there are a lot of questions this brings up and I hope they will be answered on the Friday night follow-up show. For now, I’m really exited and really nervous.”
One thing seems sure, if Brown is successful in predicting the numbers, he is sure to have a lot of new friends come Saturday’s Lottery Draw.
