
Friendly rivalry in the singles charts as the oldies dominate the albums.
All change at the top of the charts, as The Saturdays continue to show they’re the second most popular girl band at the moment by coming second in the race for this week’s number one. Taking the top spot with Oopsy Daisy from Brit rapper Chipmunk.
Cheekily in the song he talks about the girl group with the line “And now I feel like The Saturdays are all week, cos me and my heart got crazy issues.”
Over in the album charts it’s retro classic with Vera Lynn sitting at number 5 just behind Cliff Richard and the Shadows, while Barbra Streisand pushes the only modern group, Paramore, off the top step.
