Iceland Crowned Eurovision Song of the Decade winners by online fans.

The voting is now over, and the results are in from the internet jury in ESC Today’s Eurovision Song of the Decade contest. Over the last month fans have been voting on the best song from each country that has been entered into the Song Contest to determine the overall winner.

And the prize goes to the Icelandic entry from this year, Yohanna’s “Is It True?”

Outscoring Serbia in second place by 254 to 178 points, the top few songs didn;t hold many surprises for the Eurovision fan, with Ani Lorak (Ukraine), Sertab (Turkey) and Helena Paparizou (Greece) all in the top ten.

Our personal favourite, Norway’s Maria, managed a commendable fifth place.

Oh and the UK? Well in the same week that Jade Ewen’s ex bandmates in Kandy Rain were booted out the X-Factor, her Eurovision Entry with Andrew Lloyd Webber for the UK came last. Yes the fans ranked Jade lower than the German Country and Western band Texas Lightning and the Rock Gods of Lordi.

I told you Lloyd Webber should have worn a Phantom Mask on stage!

The full results are over at ESC Today.
