But just how old is he?
Otto Jones, a Dachshund terrier cross from Reabrook, Shrewsbury, has been recognised by Guiness World Records as the oldest dog in the world.
Otto took the title after it was revealed he was an impressive 20 years and eight months old.
It appears Otto’s ripe old age could be down to his diet, after owners Lynn and Peter Jones revealed he was fed “Sunday dinners and vegetables.”
Although he may be suffering from slight arthritis and his hearing is not what it was, Otto still finds time to play with the neighbours children.
Mr and Mrs Jones added: “The only thing I can put it down to is plenty of good wholesome food. He loves his Sunday dinners and his vegetables.
“He’s a loveable, affectionate rogue. Nothing seems to faze him.”
There’s still time for the fame to go to Otto’s head though, as the Jones’ revealed he is set to open a dog show and will appear on the Paul O’Grady Show on Channel 4 next month.
