Two X-Factor number ones in a row
November 9, 2009 by Ewan
Last year’s contestants JLS push judge Cheryl Cole as they land at the top of the charts.
After a two week run at number one, X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole has been removed from the number one spot in the singles charts by JLS. Their new single, “Everybody in Love” not only sees them top of the pile, it also means that they’re the first British act to have had two number ones in the same year since 2006’s McFly.
Cole can console herself that neither Bon Jovi or The Foo Fighters could claim the album charts top spot – she held onto that with another week for “3 Words.”
