Gino crowned King of the Jungle!
TV chef Gino D’Acampo has been crowned the winner of ITV reality show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
The hunky Italian beat ‘How Clean Is Your House’ presenter Kim Woodburn, while snooker star Jimmy White came third.
Gino, in his final bushtucker trial was forced to eat rotten eggs, part of a crocodile’s tongue and rhino beetles to win food for his fellow finalists.
It was this bravery and his fun humour that made him hugely popular with the public and his fellow campers, therefore becoming the new king of the jungle.
A delighted Gino told Ant and Dec: “It feels great. I know that I’m going to get into some kind of civilisation very soon. It’s an absolute honour.
“These three weeks have been crazy, up and down. I don’t think there’s ever been a day when I’ve thought ‘what am I doing here, I should be at home doing something else’ – I really enjoyed every bit of the experience.”
The ITV show will return next year.
