New Camouflage pattern for the Army in a bid to hide a bit better.
Now that the main role of the Army is not defending the wooded ground of Western Europe from the Red Army, but to do whatever it is we’re meant to be doing in Afghanistan and Iraq, the well loved and recognisable DPM style of camouflage is to be phased out.
In it’s place you won’t see the MTP design – this Multi Terrain Pattern (on the left, above) mixes the best of the Urban and Forest designs to create a mix that will work in the shifting terrains of operation.
And the man who decides on the fashion for the Army? Lt Col Toby Evans. Which is a pretty high rank for a militarised Trinny and Susannah.
Heads up to the BBC, who have more footage of it in action.
