Boogie Woogie Rock is working all over the world.
The Performing Rights Society of the UK has went through their books for 2009 and have found the band that played to the most people in 2009.
With concerts in 27 arenas, the UK’s biggest band for the year was… Status Quo!
Formed in 1962 and still going strong some 47 years later, you can catch the denim clad three chord wonders in January playing at Halifax and Oxford, with more tour dates at statusquo.co.uk
"Performing in front of thousands of fans is the ultimate experience for any band," said lead singer and founder member Francis Rossi. And in a world of bands and musicians decrying that single sales are dying and there’s no way to live… Teh Quo have proved that actual bands can.
