Hello and warm welcome Daily Dust readers! Love Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale? Eager to know what is going to happen this week in the soaps?
Well you are at just right the right place, as The Daily Dust gives you the perfect lowdown to the goings-on this week in the three much loved British soaps!
Keeping you glued to the screen this week is an on-off wedding between Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle and Charity Tate (both pictured above) - will they tie the knot or will they not? In Weatherfield disaster loomes for the Barlow’s when they find out Simon has gone missing in Blackpool and it’s decision time for the Beale’s in EastEnders.
EastEnders - Jane hopes Ian will let her ‘adopt’ Lucy’s baby
Following on from this clever storyline of Lucy Beale’s pregnancy which broke last week, Ian Beale (pictured above, left) finally gets told of the news later tonight.
And given his wife Jane’s (pictured above, right) determination to adopt a baby even though her husband’s community service punishment last week put the sword to them plans, she is hoping Ian will soon come to her and Lucy’s way of thinking.
Unfortunately for the pair (but not surprising) Ian is aghast to the revelation and straight away recommends Lucy for abortion. After pretending to go along with the scheme, Ian shows the pair of a DVD made by cafe worker Marie – telling of her frightening experience of having a baby. Talk about being positive and encouraging your young ones! He then tells Lucy to make a rational informed decision. What will Lucy do?
Meanwhile, fans are in for a treat on Tuesday when Peggy Mitchell is dressed as a cowgirl as the Queen Vic holds a music night in a bid to bring in more youngsters into the pub.
Coronation Street – Peter fumes as little Simon goes missing in Blackpool
Disaster is in the air once again for the Barlow’s this week after they find out Peter’s son Simon (both pictured above) has gone walkabout – without anyone knowing where he could be.
This gripping storyline takes place after George refuses to let alcoholic Peter have his son back in his care. George tells Peter: ” Until I believe you’re fit to look after my grandson, I am keeping him away from you. You can’t look after yourself, never mind a vulnerable little boy.”
Soon afterwards an angry Peter lets fly at George in front of a police officer and is duly arrested. Things get worse for the young father when George wins temporary custody of Simon in court. Fearing for their own safety, George, his wife Eve and Simon make the short trip to Blackpool.
But young Simon gets worried he may never see his daddy again and goes off on a runner – causing mayhem to George and Eve. Peter finds out and heads to Blackpool to find him. Peter says: “What? He takes my son, he sets lawyers on me, and then he goes and loses him in the middle of a busy town. It’s dark, it’s cold, anything could happen to him. No one would blame me if I punched his lights out” You’ve been warned George!
Will Peter find his little Simon? Tune in to find out!
Elsewhere on the street, Nick Tilsley steps up the accelerator with his attempts to invest in the factory – but boss Carla aims to find out a lot more about the potential investor before any money is put on the table.
And Tina finds out that the police are on Gail’s case over her father’s death. A furious Tina falls out with the widow and tells her in no uncertain terms: “I don’t want you at my dad’s funeral. you stay away.” That has told Gail then!
Emmerdale – Will Cain get hitched or ditched?
Will Cain and Charity tie the knot? That is the big question that is everyone’s lips this week in the Yorkshire Dales.
Well Cain (pictured above) is certainly confident of landing the bride into his arms after Debbie and the Dingle’s somehow persuade an unaware Charity to go to the registry office on Thursday for the nuptials for a surprise wedding - despite Charity calling off their engagement last week after Cain’s behind-the-scenes involvement of the SatNav hijacking two weeks ago, which left Charity and her kid Noah trapped and locked inside alone in an empty truck.
When Charity arrives to see Cain, she finds out about the secret wedding but will Charity go through with it? Or will Cain receive a taste of his own medicine?
Meanwhile, Debbie contemplates leaving the village for Jersey with close mate Sarah and Edna gets deeply worried when her much loved dog Tootsie goes missing. The poor old woman immediately blames Thomas and Anya. But is she right?
