A Lithuanian man has been fined for assaulting a policewoman with his meat and two veg.Police were called to the Aberdeen home of Marium Varinauskas, 28, after a complaint by his girlfriend.
Dressed only in his underwear, the self-employed engineer stood over the female officer and tried to smack her in the head with his giblets, forcing her to take evasive action.
Aberdeen Sheriff’s Court heard that Varinauskas, who had been drinking heavily, was led away in his underwear.
His solicitor said: “He has never been so drunk before that day and accepts he has to take full responsibility.
“He apologises profusely and is extremely embarrassed.”
Varinauskas was fined £600 by Sheriff Annella Cowan.
