Jonathan Ross has recorded his final chat show on the BBC.

Ross has presented his Friday night chat show on BBC One for the last 10 years and said he felt “grateful, lucky and honoured” to have worked for the corporation.

The final show, which will air on BBC One this Friday (16th July), will include Goldenballs himself, David Beckham.

Ross will also finish his regular Radio 2 show this month before moving over to ITV to host a new chat show next year.

Speaking about his time at the BBC, Ross said: “Everyone here at the BBC has always been terrific. I’ve been lucky to work over the 10 years with the most fabulous teams.

“The experience I’ve had here at the BBC has been a blessed one.”

Wossy opened his final show by joking: “I promised Morrissey I wasn’t going to cry.”
